For those who are 12 years old and older
If you are 12 years of age or older, completing this pre-certification exam will allow you to purchase a course completion voucher, which will allow you to bypass
attendance at a boating safety classroom course. Simply make an appointment with your local County Sheriff's office or Department of Natural Resources District Office to take your proctored final exam, which is required to obtain your
Michigan Boating Safety Certificate.

Take the proctored exam

Once you pass your online exam, simply make an appointment with your local County Sheriff's office or
Department of Natural Resources District Office to take your proctored final exam, which is required
